Darkness

What makes something, or someone dark? It is the shade/color of it? personality? Or is it merely a differential perception that everyone has on different things based on experience?

Light + Dark

If Light and Darkness are complementary, why do many people's perceptions of the two differ so much?

One or Many?

What is consciousness? Is it Something or Nothing? How does one determine this? By what means? Does the factor that only one is determining make it one way or the other for only one or many?

The Art of Knowing...

Does a person ever really "know" another person? For that matter, does a person ever really "know" anything? What determines this? How much or how little? How is the measurement determined?

To be continued in a future book...

It's All in the Way You Say It.......

'Perception can change things around completely...  making things the exact opposite of what they are supposed to be. It is a key factor in the present society, not only for how we see things but also for how we will respond to them. Should it be? There is so much out there that has been left untouched and unchanged, simply because people have not changed their thoughts to become open to more possibilities that exist for the meaning of a single word or phrase. Should things be inquired into as to their depth, or merely left as is? What knowledge are we gaining or leaving behind?'

More in an upcoming book I hope to have out by mid next year at the latest.

The Beginning

A fresh new life begins every day. We die as we fall asleep, and we are freshly born into each day. Sometimes unknowingly, we report things from the day before, mainly because that is what we are already sure of.
We tend to only look at what is known - not at any such uncertainties. Doing this can bring different results, depending on one's awareness of the impact.

 "Uncertain times
  We travel through merely wandering
  Exactly what is meant.

Unknowing what the future may bring,
If it will eventually come to anything
Or if it will simply fade away.."

When morning shows itself on the horizon, many things begin to happen. The sun peaks over the land, the colors from the sunrise are brought to life within all things - plants, animals, people, other objects...

writing

My writing is usually one of the most detailed portrayals of my being.
Simply debating the primal nature of autonomy.

Today..

Today..... what is today? Is it simply the day following yesterday, and the day before tomorrow? What meaning does it hold? For that matter, what does day mean? Day and night are two separate things, or are they? What is the distinction?

New Beginnings

New beginnings are a necessary part of our lives. When we strike out on a new path, we leave directionality in our wake for others to observe, and learn from if they wish.
Seeing the beauty in the desolate darkness, the water in the wind. It is all a matter of perception - we subconsciously choose what we want to see, to accept, to hear and to feel.

The end + the beginning are the same

The end is merely the beginning of a new state of being. Should we look upon the end as a bad thing? not necessarily. It is a conclusion in a way, and a preamble or introduction to something different. It's all a matter of perspective.
